Latest Internet Browser Market Share – December 2008 – Worldwide

It was a tense moment in the browser wars as 2008 drew to a close: IE and Firefox are battling toward a climactic clash at the top, with less than 50 percent difference between them; Safari is slowly but steadily growing; and Chrome is quickly making its way into fourth place, leaving Opera in the dust. In December, IE and Opera were the only browsers not to show any positive growth; Firefox, Safari, and Chrome all gained.
