Google have announced the release of SearchWiki, a way for you to customize search by re-ranking, deleting, adding, and commenting on search results. Don’t like a result? You can vote it down. Likewise, you can vote links up if you think they deserve a higher rank.

These changes will only appear in your Google account, and won’t influence the result sets as seen by others. However, it is hard to imagine that Google won’t take note of such signals, especially if they see broad patterns emerging, and then feed this data through into their algorithm development.

FlashReplace is a little object with a few parameters to include a Flash movie into a web page. It should also work fine with streamed movies and get us around the Eolas patent problem in IE.

This is the latest version which fixes the problem of Flash 9 movies not getting displayed in Flash 10. Many people suffered and tried to figure out why Flash 9 movies don’t work in Flash 10, but Robert Nyman came up with a simple solution to the problem.

• Apply Heading To apply heading 1, 2 or 3, press ALT+CTRL+1, ALT+CTRL+2, and ALT+CTRL+3, respectively. Headings are an excellent way to start of sections of a document, and can later be used to automatically generate a table of contents.
• Apply List Bullet To start typing a bulleted list, press ALT+CTRL+L.
• Bold Text Press CTRL+B to bold text.
• Copy Use CTRL+C to copy the current selection.
• Delete WordTo delete the entire word preceding the cursor, press CTRL+DEL.
• Find Text Press CTRL+F to bring up the Find Text dialog box. Using a program’s Find feature is always faster than manually scanning for something.
• Italics Press CTRL+I to italicize text.
• Paste Press CTRL+V to paste the contents of the clipboard.
